Original 20x26 - mixed media, (inks, collage, acrylics),  finished with oil paint, mixed media paper

This was my first horse painting that I did while a student of the Mastery Program at Milan Art Institute. I fell in love with the resource I found and enjoyed painting it while I was in Iquitos, the capitol city of the Peruvian Amazon. It was painted under the watchful eyes of our three grandchildren, from our second story studio apartment that my husband built for us several years ago. Each one of them asked for it to be hung in their bedroom, but I couldn’t show favoritism, so brought it home with me. No prints are available for this as it was an assignment and practice run.
