I’m a morning person and love sunrises especially when they shoot through the trees. This particular tree was inspired from the Big Root trees that grow all over the jungle. My husband was born and raised in the Amazon and grew up climbing on big root trees along the edge of the many lakes and rivers. As children they would play tag on the long outstretched branches hanging over the water, then dive in for a quick swim to cool off from the extreme humidity and heat. As a child, I also enjoyed climbing trees. They still invite me today to swing from their branches in my mind from the pages of my childhood memories.
