Divine Design for Discovering Destiny
The Lord put this image on my heart months ago for my friends who are struggling with long term ailments. It took months to actually begin the process but Holy Spirit wouldn’t let me forget it. Finally in the beginning of January 2025, I created the resource for the image, laboring over things that represent healing. I love how God heals and restores us! It's a unique and personal journey of how we receive from our loving Heavenly Father. He is not holding back His ability and power! He is waiting for us to receive the full revelation and see ourselves as washed, cleansed and healed.
Here is the journey as I created this masterpiece with much prayer and faith, expecting it to release healing to your life every time you gaze upon it. It was actually one of the easiest portraits that I have painted and I felt like Holy Spirit took hold of my hands and painted each stroke with me. This is you! Washed and healed in His Presence!
Giant Pandas
Originally I was going to paint a panda bear staring at the women bathing in the stream of water, and actually drew an image on paper to start with. The giant panda has a supercharged gut for part of the year, allowing them to gain weight when they chow down on the most nutritious parts of bamboo. Scientists from China have discovered a certain gut bacteria that becomes more prevalent when the bamboo shoots are available and this allows them to store more fat during that season to survive in the leaner parts of the year. Since many struggle with digestive issues that can cause moments of great pain and inability to eat, this symbol of healing seemed perfect... until, I ran across the Caladrius instead.
Caladrius
As I prayed into it, I discovered a different image that would bring healing to ALL those suffering with illness. As I searched for images that portray healing, the Caladrius, snow-white bird, from Roman mythology popped up. These mythical birds live in the king’s house. It is said to be able to take the sickness into itself and then fly away, dispersing the sickness and healing both itself and the sick person. That is a perfect picture of Holy Spirit!
The reference from wikipedia went on to say, “It has been theorized that the caladrius is based on a real bird. Due to descriptions of it being completely white, it is possible that it was based on the dove.” (FYI - Some Sci-fi novels have converted this beauty into a demon god or dragon looking creature, which I don’t like. So we won’t go there.)
The caladrius in my masterpiece comes from the King’s palace and represents the Holy Spirit who brings “Healing in His Wings”.
Bamboo
I have always been fascinated with this amazing plant that grows deep roots into the soil before it sprouts up rapidly toward the sky. Once it takes root in the depths of the earth, it’s almost impossible to kill and it spreads quickly. It is very resilient, though slow at first and becoming well grounded before major growth occurs. This is how we should be in our spiritual walk, patient in the beginning process of foundation on the Word of God, then with supernatural growth, we increase and become prolific in our walk with the Lord.
Most people recognize that bamboo has amazing healing properties that include: reduces risk of cancer, strengthens immune system, acts as an anti- inflammatory, improves cardiovascular health, brings relief for stomach ailments and more. People make delicious food with bamboo shoots and they make patches for different body parts that draw out impurities.
Iris Flowers
They have been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years to treat a variety of conditions. They are used to treat coughs, colic, insomnia, skin conditions, nausea, blood purification, stress relief and more. Iris essential oil is sometimes used in aromatherapy as sedative medicines.
Wikipedia stated that about the iris, “This divine connection gave a sacred status, making it a symbol of faith and hope. It came to represent trust in the divine and the hope for better things to come.”
Wellspring of Water
We are all familiar with the importance of water for cleansing externally and internally, purifying dangerous toxins from our bodies. Without this essential element in our life, we would soon die. Water is the one substance that makes this planet grow and blossom into a paradise for us to live in.
We are washed with the water of the Word (Eph. 5:26) and by His stripes we have been healed (Isa. 53:4-5). Water symbolizes the river of living water that flows from us which is Holy Spirit’s presence and power to heal and deliver.
My Prayer for You Today
Heavenly Father, as we come before Your throne of grace and restoration, we agree with Your Word and the power of Your blood covenant through the broken body of Christ on the cross, His burial, His resurrection and His ascension into heaven where He is sitting at Your right hand interceding for us now.
We take the authority that has been given to us through the triumph of Christ over all sin, sickness, disease and poverty. We declare Your Word that by His stripes we HAVE BEEN HEALED! We come into agreement with heaven and declare NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US CAN PROSPER, NO SICKNESS can stay in our bodies, NO LACK can remain in our lives, NO CURSE has power over us. Our Almighty God turns every curse into a blessing and we walk in divine strength and healing every day of our lives.
Your Declaration
Psalms 34:4 I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears.
Father, you have delivered me from all fear of not being healed, I command fear off of my body NOW together with every ailment and symptom of the enemy in Jesus’ Name. I resist all pain and sickness and it flees from me, NOW! AMEN!
Let me hear your comments. They mean the world to me!
